Finn

Listing Overview

This 17-hand Thoroughbred gelding brings the kind of honest, workmanlike attitude that makes amateur jumping careers click. Since starting his hunter/jumper training in late 2022, he has progressed from no experience over fences to competing at 1.10m in the jumper ring and schooling 1.20m at home, with additional mileage in the 2'9" hunters where he remains green year eligible. The seller describes him as a horse who is willing at the jumps without spooking, forgiving of rider mistakes, and not a stopper, a trifecta that matters more than fancy breeding when you're the one in the saddle. His big stride and ground-covering movement give him plenty of scope, and his temperament shines at shows, where the seller notes he loves being, behaving well around other horses and settling into the atmosphere that makes some horses unravel.
