Zeus

Listing Overview

Zeus is a 13-year-old Friesian gelding who brings the rare combination of striking presence and genuine kindness under saddle. Trained and competed through Prix St. Georges in Holland before arriving stateside three years ago, he's now returning to consistent work after a riding hiatus and showing all the pieces are still there: clean changes, easy lateral work, and those three correct, flashy gaits with real ground cover that make Friesians such captivating movers. What sets him apart from the typical fancy warmblood is his temperament. He's light in the mouth, responsive off the leg, and carries that calm, unflappable demeanor whether you're schooling PSG movements or heading out on the trail. His sellers describe him as a true gentleman who'd make an exceptional schoolmaster for a junior, young rider, or adult amateur looking to learn the work without the drama, no spooking, no theatrics, just honest partnership from a horse who clearly enjoys his job.
