German Riding Pony, Gelding, 10 years, 14.2 hh, Buckskin

Listing Overview

Dance For Gold brings the kind of temperament that makes complex training actually enjoyable. This 10-year-old buckskin German Riding Pony gelding is unflappable in his manner, well-behaved enough that small children can groom and lead him, yet athletic enough to cover adult riders with ease thanks to his generous frame and ground-covering gaits. His sire Dance For Me won the Hamburg Pony Derby at six years old, and his maternal grandsire Danny Gold earned placements through L-level (roughly Second Level) and passed his talent on to numerous successful offspring in pony sport. The seller describes a horse who was given time to mature physically and mentally, carefully brought along over recent years, and now stands ready for focused work with three good basic gaits and the pedigree to support development in upper-level pony dressage.
