Lusitano, Gelding, 14 years, 16 hh, Black

Listing Overview

Here's a Grand Prix schoolmaster who already knows the job and is ready to teach it to you. This striking 14-year-old black gelding stands 16.1h and performs the full Grand Prix test with the kind of steady reliability that lets riders actually learn the movements instead of just surviving them. His temperament is described as sweet, trustworthy, willing, and consistent, exactly what you need when you're figuring out how to ask for tempi changes or building confidence in the piaffe. While his radiographs aren't perfect, he works comfortably several times a week without issue, staying sound and willing in his work. If you're an amateur ready to experience advanced dressage on a horse who genuinely understands his role as a teacher, he offers that rare combination of high-level training and forgiving temperament that's genuinely hard to find.
