Listing Overview

Here's a scopey 11-year-old mare by Kalaska de Semilly who genuinely loves her job over fences and has the temperament to make both kids and nervous riders feel safe. She's been campaigned in open jumping classes and shows that lovely combination of being completely motivated when there's a jump in sight while staying calm and relaxed at competitions, during loading, and on the transport. Her current rider notes she picks up on nerves easily, which speaks to just how sensitive and responsive she is to light aids (she'll respond to fingertip pressure and voice commands), making her an ideal match for a confident rider ready to channel that scopey athleticism. While she's a bit impatient in flatwork, she transforms when the jumps go up, and her love of hacking out adds versatility that many upper-level horses simply don't have.
