Imported from Spain with exceptional bloodlines, they have successfully competed from Third Level through I-1 in the US and are schooling the full Grand Prix work at home, with particular strength in piaffe, passage, and pirouette. Their extensions consistently earn 8s, and clinicians regularly comment on the quality of their gaits, yet what truly sets them apart is how accessible they make this level of work. Light in the hands, smooth to sit, patient and forgiving, Deseado is equally happy teaching an amateur their first tempi changes or refining a professional's seat in passage, all while staying forward, focused, and completely safe at shows or hacking out alone on the buckle. At 16 hands and requiring no maintenance despite working at this intensity, they're the kind of horse who walks calmly onto the trailer, gets along with everyone (horses, humans, sheep, dogs), and simply tries their heart out every time you ride.
