Onyx is a seven-year-old Dutch Warmblood by Painted Black out of a Lord Leatherdale mare who brings the kind of collection and movement quality that typically costs significantly more. Their ability to gather themselves and sit is already noteworthy, and they've begun showing the flying changes that suggest a smooth path forward through the levels. After completing rehab from a tendon injury, they've been sound and in consistent work since last spring, versatile enough to have competed at the Southern Pines CDE in driving before returning focus to dressage. With FEI breeding, gorgeous natural gaits, and the foundation work already established, Onyx offers a rider the chance to develop a horse with serious upper-level potential while building the partnership from these early competitive years.
